Just another Manic Monday.. :-)

No case of the Monday's here!
My weekend was pretty good.
And we DID clean Saturday. Not a ton, but enough that it looks different.

Today begins a busy week.
Had to go deposit a check only to turn around and go get Doug's tag and then groceries.
Oh, those groceries. So. much. money.
I spent way too much & only got enough for 3 nights worth of dinner & then some snacks and a couple of staple items. Crazy how easy it is to spend a lot of money on food.
But that's okay! Gotta do what you gotta do, right?
I'll be interested to see how much less is spent when I only have to buy for Doug & myself.

Oh!
So, as I was standing in line at Wal Mart waiting to get to the belt to unload my buggy...
The woman in front of me was just a texting away, barely ever looking up. She had, I think, 2 things in her buggy.
After the person in front of her paid and walked away, this lady had finally but her 2 items on the belt but was now rummaging through her purse, looking for her money-I'm assuming, with her precious phone in her hand still. All while sounding a bit irritated while talking to the dude with her, "Where is it? He didn't put it back in. here."
Well she finally moved up so I could get to the belt & unload.
By the time I got unloaded she still hadn't paid and ended up tell thing cashier that she had to go to her car and that she would be right back. So the cashier voided out her purchase and then it was my turn.
 2 Things about this....
1- Am I the only one who will double-check my wallet as soon as, if not before, I get in line at Wal Mart, Target, or where ever I am?! Sometimes I even check before I get out of my car to walk in. Maybe that's an OCD-type thing, I don't know.
2- Put your phone down and pay attention to what you are doing. Be present. I mean come on. It can wait 5 minutes. Had she not been staring at her phone she could have had her money ready, or she could have realized before hand that she didn't have what she needed.

But, it's whatever!

& then, silly ole me, I was coming home & I turned my blinker on to turn right, and turned left. I rarely do that, let alone do it unknowingly.
Haha! I crack myself up.

I don't know why I'm in such a good mood today, but I hope everyone else is too!

This weeks posts will be mostly scheduled, so they'll probably post in the morning. They'll start tomorrow. They are gonna be talking about when Doug & I met to when we got married, to now. Y'all will be tired of reading about Doug & I by Sunday, I'm sure of it. Some posts may be picture heavy, some may not, some might be long, some might be short and sweet...(probably more long though).
I'll actually probably post twice on Wednesday so I can to my typical link ups.
I'm trying to get everything ready to go, but y'all, it's a lot on top of everything I'm doing at home! :)

& NOW, I've got to get started on supper! Doug chose 3 meals this week: Spaghetti, Burgers, and Chicken Tacos. Tonight is spaghetti.

Hope everyone has had a good day! If not, make it great starting NOW!

I couldn't agree with you more on the cell phone thing. It irritates me that everyone is so attached to their phones these days.
